Weingut Zens

Our family winery is located on the southern Moselle and has been cultivating vineyards since the 19th century, which are spread across several villages around Palzem. We take great pride in our terroir, which cannot be found anywhere else along the Moselle: the shell limestone soils of the ancient sea of the Paris Basin. Regionally typical, we grow the cultural grape variety of the southern Moselle, the Elbling. Even the Romans knew that the Elbling grape variety thrives particularly well here on the Moselle. Furthermore, we place special emphasis on the vines of the Pinot family. The Zens winery vinifies wines that speak for themselves in harmony with nature. With great enthusiasm and creativity, we create wines with character and diversity. In doing so, we always pay attention to ecological balance with nature and the biodiversity of our vines.
