Smallest wine cooperative in Germany

The wine estate Kasel eG was founded in 1934. With an area of approximately 3 hectares and today 15 members, it is the smallest winegrowers' cooperative in Germany. In recognized good locations of the Riesling-famous Ruwer Valley, the ambitious members cultivate their vineyards exclusively as a secondary occupation. The hand-harvested grapes are delivered to the cooperative in the autumn, where they are processed by the cellar master and marketed by the members. In addition to the estate wines (Leo's, Jupp's, and Anne's), site wines from the well-known Kasel locations Nies'chen, Kehrnagel, and Hitzlay are offered, often in the category of Prädikatsweine. For groups of up to 12 people, there is the possibility to get to know the Kasel wine locations on a tractor-drawn cart ride with wine tasting.

Wine tastings by appointment for 8 to 30 people (English tasting on request)
