Winery and vinotheque Kerpen

Since 1803, the Kerpen family has been engaged in viticulture. That’s 220 years and now 9 generations. People who have worked heart and soul in the world-famous steep slopes and continue to do so today.
In January 2024, Matthias Kerpen took over his father's winery. He runs the business together with his fiancée Vivien Gohr.
The two want to combine tradition and modernity: "We are proud of what my parents have created and know that we are following in big footsteps. It is important to us to build on this foundation while continuously developing ourselves. Sustainability is also becoming an increasingly important topic that we want to engage with more and more."
In addition to year-round wine tastings, you can also sit in the beautiful garden of the estate in the summer (May, June, August) and enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious piece of cake at the Riesling Café.
