Until 2009, the winery was run by Michael Biewers' parents, steadily expanded over the decades and transformed from a regionally typical mixed farm with arable farming and livestock breeding into a pure winegrowing operation. In 2009, after graduating in viticulture and oenology at the University of Applied Sciences in Geisenheim, Michael Biewers took over his parents' winery.
Currently, the winery cultivates around 13 hectares of vines - a large part of which is traditionally planted with the Elbling grape variety. In order to diversify the range, the grape varieties have been steadily expanded in recent years and today, in addition to the regionally typical Elbling, the estate also cultivates Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Müller-Thurgau as well as Pinot Noir and Dornfelder.
Elli's and Rosi's kleine Jause also belongs to the Biewers winery:
The rest area is located directly on the Moselsteig and the side trail "Wasserliescher Panoramasteig". Here you will find covered seating and a great view. Wine and water are available, as well as homemade cakes and biscuits and small souvenirs such as homemade syrup and jams. At the weekends, cheese snacks and small sausage and ham plates are also available.
