Winery Biewers

The vineyard currently manages a vineyard area of around 13 hectares – a large part of which is traditionally planted with the grape variety Elbling. To broaden the offering, the variety of grape has been steadily expanded in recent years, and today cultivates, alongside the regionally typical Elbling, also White and Grey Burgundy, Auxerrois, Müller-Thurgau, as well as Pinot Noir and Dornfelder.

The old saying "Wine is made in the cellar" has not been true for a long time: The path to a good wine begins long before its maturation in the barrels. Therefore, Michael Biewers invests a lot of work, time, and passion into the care of the vineyards. This way, the grapes achieve their maximum ripeness before they are harvested. And the further wine production is carried out as gently as possible to preserve the special potential of the vines all the way into the bottle.

The Biewers vineyard also hosts your family celebrations. In the wine shop, from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 80 people, if desired, with a custom menu or buffet and wine recommendations. Exclusive wine tastings are offered for groups of 10 or more. Bread or snacks, e.g., cold platters, are optionally provided.

Celebrate spring & summer festivals as well as the Törggele festival (harvest festival according to South Tyrolean tradition) at the Biewers vineyard.
