Family is when everyone pitches in. This is especially true when the passion of an entire family is devoted to wine. For over three decades, everything on the estate in Palzem, Rhineland-Palatinate, has revolved around the grape. The division of labor is (almost) always clearly defined: Alois Boesen and son Markus take care of the wine from vine care to bottling, while Silvia Boesen looks after the well-being of the guests in the wine tavern, wine bar, and holiday apartments.

It was clear from the beginning that son Markus Boesen would follow in his father's footsteps - it became official in 2011 when he successfully passed his winemaker exam before the Chamber of Crafts in Trier. This not only secures the succession for the winery but also enhances the wine offering through the latest cultivation and vinification methods, which can be seen and tasted!
From Riesling to Elbling, from Pinot to Regent, at the winery in Palzem, Rhineland-Palatinate, you will find a large selection of sparkling fruity to full-bodied wines. For over three decades, predominantly white, but also red grape varieties have been cultivated along the slopes of the Moselle Valley on a total area of 12.5 hectares, especially Elbling grapes, alongside Pinot and Riesling.
