Winery Bollig-Fischer

Bollig- Fischer wine estate is to be found in Minheim holiday resort, located at one of the most beautiful loops of the Moselle River. At their place, wine has been grown for several generations; the winemakers house was built in 1825. The ancestors of Anne & Andreas Bollig were wine commission agents and cellarmen. The love of wine was also put into the cradle of their son Jacob. After his completion of the "Viticulture & Enology" study programme at the renowned Geisenheim college, he is planning to enlarge the estate. He has full support from his parents and his brother Fridolin for his ambitious plans.
2,5 ha vineyards are cultivated in the family business. More than half of the vineyards are located on steep slopes, which even today require exclusively manual labour. The hand-picked grapes yield pure, delicate wines of unique quality. Besides Riesling, which is typical of the Moselle region, also varieties like Bacchus or Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir can be bought or tasted at the wine shop.
