The winery is located in Palzem, the southernmost wine municipality of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The old manor house was built around 1720 in the Baroque style. It served the Kingdom of Prussia from 1828, which sold the building to the Strupp family in 1863 after the founding of the German Empire. Today, the building is located in the center of Palzem at an equally old village well. Back then, oak barrels with the precious wine were stored in the vaulted cellar made of sandstone. For the family, "a treasure with great tradition."
In 1985, five double rooms were created; in 2008, additional rooms and a holiday apartment were added, as well as a cozy wine tavern for around 60 people. Here, guests are pampered with the special drops of the house.
