Welcome to the Winzerhof Greif! For generations, viticulture has been at the heart of the Greif family. The winery is located on the southern wine Moselle and offers you, in addition to comfortable holiday apartments and accommodations, wonderfully fresh wines and sparkling wines, as well as hearty delicacies from the winemaker's kitchen.
The heart of the operation is the vaulted cellar made of limestone with old oak barrels. The sparkling wine undergoes fermentation in the bottle using the traditional method and is hand-riddled. The Winzerhof Greif cultivates mostly the traditional grape variety of the Upper Moselle, the Elbling. Additionally, the following varieties are grown: Rivaner, Riesling, Kerner, Ortega, as well as red and white Burgundy wines.
The former pressing house of the winery houses a cozy wine tavern, which invites you to stop by not only during the summer months.
End a busy day of vacation with a wonderful glass of house-made Moselle wine and enjoy culinary delights from the winemaker's kitchen, such as tasty soups and appetizers, juicy rump steaks, fresh salads, and a small ice cream menu for a sweet conclusion.
Particularly popular is the homemade Flammkuchen, which is freshly baked for you in the open kitchen of the wine tavern.
