Welcome to the Winzerhof Greif! For generations, viticulture has been at the heart of the Greif family. The winery is located on the southern wine Moselle and offers you, in addition to comfortable holiday apartments and accommodations, wonderfully fresh wines and sparkling wines, as well as hearty delicacies from the winemaker's kitchen.
The heart of the operation is the vaulted cellar made of limestone, featuring old oak barrels. The sparkling wine is fermented in the bottle using the traditional method and is hand-riddled. Winzerhof Greif cultivates 7 hectares mainly with the traditional grape variety of the Upper Mosel, the Elbling. Additionally, the following varieties are grown: Rivaner, Riesling, Kerner, Ortega, as well as red and white Burgundy wines.
The former pressing house of the winery houses a cozy wine tavern, which invites you to drop in not only during the summer months.
Conclude an eventful vacation day with a wonderful glass of house-made Mosel wine and enjoy delicacies from the winemaker's kitchen such as delicious soup and appetizers, juicy rump steaks, fresh salads, and a small ice cream menu for a sweet finish.
Especially popular is the homemade Flammkuchen, which is freshly baked for you in the open kitchen of the wine tavern.
