The family is a long-established traditional winery.
Winegrowing has been practised in the family since 1425 and the secrets of winegrowing have been passed down from generation to generation. In addition to the typical wines, Riesling sparkling wine has also been produced since 1980 using traditional bottle fermentation. Riesling, a speciality of the winery, is grown on a good 3.5 hectares of steep and set-steep slopes with up to 80% incline. The wines and sparkling wines always receive top ratings at important national and international tastings.
Wines can be tasted and purchased in the winery's wine shop during normal opening hours.
Guided cellar tours and wine tastings are held on a regular basis by appointment.
