Tradition, craftsmanship, and modern wine culture—this is what the family-run Hugo Hower Winery in Lieser, near Bernkastel-Kues, has stood for for generations.
Our vineyards are situated on the sunny, steep slopes of the Moselle region—including the renowned *Lieserer Niederberg-Helden* site. Through extensive manual labor, sustainable viticulture, and a keen sense for *terroir*, we craft elegant Moselle wines with distinct character—foremost among them, our Rieslings.
Today, the winery is passionately managed by winemaker Stefan Loersch and his daughter, Eva-Maria Loersch—a young winemaker in her own right. Together with the rest of the family, they create authentic wines that harmoniously blend heritage, enjoyment, and the true spirit of the Moselle.

Since 2023, our modernly designed Vinothek has invited guests to enjoy a relaxed wine experience right here on the Moselle—whether through seated wine tastings, small culinary delights from the "winemaker's kitchen" (prepared by mother Jutta Loersch), special events, or simply over a leisurely glass of wine in a stylish atmosphere.

You can experience truly special Moselle moments during our guided "Wine Tasting Walks," led by daughter and nature guide Katharina Loersch or by young winemaker Eva-Maria. For a taste of regional delights on your own terms, you can enjoy a wine picnic package while hiking independently through the vineyards.
