Winery Jakoby-Mathy

Today, the winery is run in the third generation by Erich, Rita, Peter and Stefan Jakoby. Our almost five hectares of vineyards are spread over many small plots around our small wine village and are divided between our partly rocky slate steep slopes Kinheimer Rosenberg and Kinheimer Hubertuslay. We love classic Rieslings and this grape variety now accounts for almost 80% of our range. The range is supplemented with Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignac and Pinot Blanc. Our wines are made in the vineyard! As a small family business, it is important to us to cultivate the vineyards ourselves, to a large extent even by hand. Fully ripe, aromatic and healthy grapes and fermentation on the grape's own yeast are the basis for producing "great wines" with character and originality. We think that this uncompromising work has paid off!
