Viticulture in the family - and that for generations already
In 2002 I took over our vineyard from Resi and Alfred to continue it according to old tradition and new ideas.
In addition to 70 % Riesling vines, the grape varieties Kerner, Müller-Thurgau and Dornfelder are cultivated. 80 % of our vineyards are located on steep slopes. Machines can only be used to a limited extent, everything else is manual labour. The vines find ideal conditions to grow and thrive on weathered slate soils on the steep slopes of the Moselle around Enkirch; this allows us to offer you a wide range of all flavours of our wines.
Our wines are traditionally matured in oak barrels in our vaulted cellar. There they are stored and matured until they are bottled.
