Winery Karl O. Pohl

The Karl O. Pohl winery harvests its Riesling from the famous slate steep slopes of the Middle Mosel in Wehlen, Graach, Bernkastel and Maring. Straightforward, sparkling wines characterised by fine fermentation carbonic acid and concise fruit acidity. When vinifying the wines, attention is paid to their storability, so that the wines still shine with great freshness after many years. The winery looks back on 400 years of tradition and is managed by Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Pohl. In the Gutsweinstube at Uferallee 4a, directly opposite the world-famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr, the wines awarded the Mundus Vini wine prize and by AWC Vienna are offered with specialities from the winegrower's kitchen.
