In the holiday resort of Lieser, you will find the Löwen-Herges winery. The family operates viticulture on about three hectares of vineyard area. These are located in the slopes around Lieser.
Riesling as well as Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, but also Pinot Noir and Dornfelder are cultivated. In addition to tradition, modern methods for the gentle processing of grapes also play a role. You can taste the wines in the winery's vinotheque or wine tavern. Or you can spend your Mosel vacation in the winery's holiday apartments.
At stylish wine tastings every Saturday and Sunday at 3 and 5 p.m. in the Löwen-Herges vinotheque, you can enjoy outstanding wines from the steep slopes of the Mosel, including dips, mineral water, and bread. So that you don’t have to worry about getting to and from the tasting, we offer a free pick-up and drop-off service for the wine tasting within a 20 km radius.
