We are based in one of the most exclusive white wine regions in the world - the Moselle.

In the heart of the Moselle, which has been meandering through the slate massif for millions of years, the demanding Riesling vine finds unique growing conditions. The interplay of climatic conditions from cool winds and hot slate mountains provides the best prerequisites for high-quality Riesling wines.

Of course, many things can be done differently, but much cannot be done better than it has been in the steep slopes of the Moselle for millennia.
We believe in handwork, in a return to proven traditions that bring out the best through the exceptional grape variety Riesling from the excellent steep slopes of weathered slate.
With trust and knowledge in the natural conditions, patience, and time for what is essential, we create fascinating treasures of inestimable value.
You will find no symbol of a certified organic association on our labels. We stand for a different approach: holistic wine production from the valuable slate sites that have always been cultivated by hand. From nature-friendly management of the vineyards to careful, selective hand harvesting and gentle grape processing, to natural maturation and only cautious use of traditional and modern techniques, wines with intense aroma and elegant finesse unfold with patience and time. 
We are convinced that the fascination that such wines exude is only developed through the interplay of the extraordinary slate sites formed over millions of years, the unique and expressive grape variety Riesling, and the elaborate handwork in the vineyard and cellar.
