Our winery, which has also been named a House of Award-winning Wines, comprises approx. 4 hectares of steep and escarpment vineyards in and around Bernkastel-Kues. These are predominantly planted with Riesling vines. Our vineyards include the Bernkastel-Kueser Kardinalsberg, the Bernkastel-Kueser Weisenstein, the Bernkastel-Kueser Rosenberg, the Bernkasteler Graben and the Bernkasteler Badstube.

These locations allow us to benefit from a wide range of different soils and sun exposure. This enables us to grow and offer the right wine for every taste.

Our wines are produced in the traditional way. Without any artificial additives. A few years ago, pure yeasts were used to turn must into wine. But today the way "less is more" is an important statement especially in viticulture. That is why 90% of our wines are vinified "spontaneously". The fermentation of the wine takes place due to the naturally given yeast in the grape. Through the natural, slow and gentle fermentation of the wine, we achieve a stylish and characterful range of wines that change from sip to sip in smell and glass.
