Winery Peter Lauer

Riesling is the passion at Weingut Peter Lauer. The winery in Ayl has the best steep slopes on the Saar. In addition to the famous Ayler Kupp, the estate also cultivates two other important vineyards in the Moselle region. The Saar "Feilser" directly across the river and the steeply sloping vineyard "Schonfels", a little further upstream. Recently, the forgotten "Lambertskirch" vineyard, just a stone's throw from the "Schonfels", was also replanted and recultivated.

For many years, the white wines from Weingut Peter Lauer have been among the best on the Saar. A member of the VDP - the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates - since 2013. The wines from VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN® in the dry and off-dry flavour range are particularly special.
