Winery Schloss Lieser

In idyllic Lieser you will find the Schloss Lieser winery. The winery has been run by Thomas Haag for 20 years. The vineyards are cultivated as close to nature as possible. The grapes are selected by hand in several passes. The vineyard sites are Piesporter Goldtröpfchen, Kestener Paulinsberg, Brauneberger Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr, Lieser Niederberg-Helden, Bernkasteler Doctor, Graacher Himmelreich and Wehlener Sonnenuhr. The large sites Niederberg-Helden, Juffer Sonnenuhr and Juffer are sold as stock wines to accentuate the respective terroir. Thomas Haag was awarded as Winemaker of the Year 2015 by Gault & Millau. Furthermore, the wine guide awarded five grapes to the 2017 estate, the wine guide Eichelmann awarded five stars in 2018 and the gourmet also awarded the highest score of five Fs.
