In the holiday resort of Kesten you will find the Selbach-Erz winery. The family has been cultivating vineyards on the Moselle for generations. These consist of 50% steep and flat vineyards.
Care is taken to practice environmentally friendly viticulture. The latest techniques are used in the cellar, so that tradition and modernity are in harmony. The grape varieties grown include Riesling, Rivaner, Kerner, and Burgundy as well as Dornfelder and Regent. In addition to sparkling wines, spirits are also produced. The wines come from controlled viticulture, as fertilization and plant protection are monitored. You can taste the wines at a wine tasting with the winemaker. You can also try dishes from the Moselle cuisine. You can spend your vacation with the winemaker in the guest rooms and holiday apartments of the family.
