In our steep locations in Zeltingen, Wehlen, Graach, and Bernkastel, high-quality Riesling wines are created through intricate manual labor, in harmony with nature, which are considered by both the German and international trade press to be among the best wines in Germany.

On 23 ha, 91% Riesling is grown, mostly from old, own-rooted parcels, complemented by high-quality dry Pinot Blanc, a bit of Gewürztraminer, and a small amount of Pinot Noir grown on slate soil.
The philosophy of the estate aims for elegant, typically Mosel-mineral wines with long durability. First-class vineyards, reduced yields, selective harvesting, and gentle processing provide the best foundation for this.
Fermentation, almost exclusively with wild yeasts, occurs slowly at low temperatures, partly in traditional large barrels and partly in small stainless steel tanks. A long aging on the lees and minimalistic cellar work enable expressive, multifaceted wines.
