In the Moselle village of Wintrich you will find the St. Georg vineyard. The family has been growing wine for 300 years. Since 1975 the winery is managed by Kurt Basten and his wife Inge.
In the Moselle village of Wintrich you will find the St. Georg vineyard. The family has been growing wine for 300 years. Since 1975 the winery is managed by Kurt Basten and his wife Inge. Together they also built the present winery. Four hectares are cultivated in the locations of Wintrich and Brauneberg. Cultivated are Riesling, Rivaner, Kerner and Pinot Blanc. In recent years the red wine varieties Dornfelder and Pinot Noir have been added. In addition, sparkling wine, sparkling wine, grape juice, fine brandies and liqueurs are produced. You can taste all products at a wine tasting in the winery. Or you can spend your holiday at the winery, in the holiday apartment of the winery.
