The internationally renowned winery Witwe Dr. H. Thanisch, Erben Müller-Burggraef, is located in Andel, a district of Bernkastel-Kues.
In total, about 15 hectares of the best Riesling steep slopes are cultivated by the winery Dr. H. Thanisch, Erben Müller-Burggraef today. This includes, in addition to the Bernkasteler Doctor, the locations Badstube, Graben, Lay, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Brauneberger Juffer, Sonnenlay, and Graacher Himmelreich. For several years now, red wine - Pinot Noir - has also been grown.
