In the holiday resort Ürzig you will find the Wolfgang Mies winery. For generations the family has been involved in wine growing. Today, the vineyards are situated on the steep slopes of Ürzig and Erden, including the Ürziger Würzgarten.
In the holiday resort Ürzig you will find the Wolfgang Mies winery. For generations the family has been involved in wine growing. Today, the vineyards are situated on the steep slopes of Ürzig and Erden, including the Ürziger Würzgarten. Riesling is the most frequently cultivated. In addition, the grape varieties Bacchus and Kerner as well as blue Pinot Noir and Rotling are also grown. You can get to know the wines during a wine tasting or you can visit the winery's wine tavern and discover some more typical Moselle dishes. If you would like to spend your Moselle holidays in a winery, the guest rooms and a holiday apartment are available for you.
